What is a website going to cost?
If you haven't already, please review our
Web Design Rates page. There,
you will find information that will give you an idea as to what a small website may cost.
For larger sites, which you expect will contain more than six pages, or you would like
more complex features, we will need to work a bid up for you.
What determines the cost of a website?
Cost is based mostly on the time it takes to develop the site and program it. Obviously,
larger sites take more time, as do sites where we offer, Email Newsletters, Talk Forums,
Flash Presentations, E-Commerce, lots of Photos, etc.
Because we have years of experience in designing and maintaining websites, we work very
quickly and productively, which results in lower total prices for our customers while
maintaining top quality.
For small sites (less than 6 pages) review our
Web Design Rates
pages to get an idea as far as price. We can typically design small websites for the rate
indicated on the Web Design Rates page.
What material do I need to supply to get the job going?
To get the job rolling, we need to know first, what all you would like included in your website.
Second, you will need to supply us with any photos you would like included, as well as the
text, as you would like it to read on your site.
We recommend that you simply email the text to us either in the body of an email or in an
MS Word format. Photos and images can also be emailed, or supplied via regular US mail.
How does payment work?
For each and every job we do, we supply our customers with a contract which includes the
quoted price and outlines what Web Monster Web Design will do, as requested by you. The
contract will need to be signed before any work is begun. In addition, we ask that you pay
50% up-front and the remaining balance when the job is complete.
We accept check or credit card.
How long will it take for my site to be complete?
Smaller websites (1 - 6 pages), typically take about 5 days, from the time we receive all
material, to complete. Larger sites take a little longer, but usually no more than 2 weeks
if all the material is supplied as requested.
How do I go about adding things and updating my site?
In addition to designing and building websites, we also maintain many websites. For those
who will need updates and additions made each month, we suggest arranging a maintenance
contract with Web Monster Web Design. By doing so, we can give you our rock-bottom labor
rate.
For those who simply need additions or updates made every few months, or may only require
an hour or so each month, we offer our service at $60.00 per hour.
